The term BOOGIE as we currently use it is the amalgamation of Funk and Disco with a mid to uptempo shuffle / groove. It's the underground raw black sound of the late 70s to mid 80s and the GODFATHER of this musical form is for us is the one and only Mr Leroy Burgess.

When we delve into Mr Burgess’s illustrious back catalogue of music and we look at his various team ups and collaborations the most important of all of Mr Burgess’s work to be found in his deep well of productions is the LOGG album (in our humble opinion), which is filled with so much uplifting joyful musicality while still steeped in dance floor funkiness and love, this album spent many years on our turntables and many of the clubs and house parties we’d play at, that’s why it’s in our top 5 all time favourite albums and we’ve been so privileged and excited to present our four favourite dance floor stompers it in this exclusive 7” package” with a slight reimagining of the iconic cover with a modern by retro twist. Whether your premiere lover of Boogie or brand new to the whole sound, enjoy this 1st but definitely not last release from the BB Boogie label.
